i've said before that i hope to live long enough to see an all-texas world series, i.e. rangers vs astros. of course i might regret those words when i'm 109...

The two problems that the Rangers have, are always the same:
Pitching and
Location.

They are weak on pitching year in and year out; for some reason, they can never sign a decent rotation.
And the Rangers inevitably play many home games in hot, steamy late July and August in Arlington, which wears out the home team more than the visiting teams.

If any team needed a retractable roofed-stadium like the Astros, it IS the Rangers.
