It is possible that the authors actually didn't realize that the sword they were polishing up (and I have to say I appreciated the first few seconds of the article, as much as any other Onion article... like Saturday Night Live, they tend to cram 5 seconds' worth of humor into 4 agonizing minutes) had two edges on it.
