I'm confused by your caption. How can you not be affiliated with your own city? Is it like having a 'plutonic relationship' with your local government? How does that work? Do you still have to pay taxes?
I don't understand the confusion - does everyone named Washington live in the Washington State or the District of Columbia? If my name were Georgia would I have to live in the vicinity of Atlanta? Is Harlan, Kentucky, the only place someone named Harlan can live? And what about Torrance (California)? I understand that a blog name is selected, but why assume that the name and the place of residence must be the same?
