Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.

oh woe is hollywood!
Miss O'Hara makes many good points about the declining box office profits of movies these days. There's one point she missed - that actual studio revenues are going up due to increased DVD sales.
