OIL: as in "Euler" the mathematician

CRAYON: kra-un

FURNITURE: couch

COLD STORAGE UNIT: cryogenic storage unit

CARBONATED BEVERAGE: carbonated beverage

As you can see, I am a pretty big nerd, but not optimally. Thank you for pointing out my inadequacies.

Hmm.. maybe I could call a "wide piece of furniture" a "multiply-accomodating declination device" and "crayons" "chromatic paraffin."
