sellout

In response to the brilliant (not) idea of selling American ports to the UAE, the Washington Times asks:
Do we really want (six of) our major ports in the hands of an Arab country where al Qaeda recruits, travels and wires money?
and Schumer gets something right, for once:
Sen. Chuck Schumer, New York Democrat, among others, is asking tough questions about this deal.
as every real American should be doing.

You know- HinH- I'm a novice, I'll admit. I seem to have a trust for W that, even now- doesn't wanna quit.

I get tired defending him, but for some reason we have to let this thing take it's course and the result will be a good one. He's not STUPID.

I supported him in the Harriet Miers thingie (dispute), too. i think it turned out as he wanted and i think Alito is so astute- and young!! And Catholic :0).

He's got a plan. Why should he divulge it- so it can be leaked? Like all the other high security shit?

(Can I use that word here?) As a friend said- ~We all know that W plays chess when everyone else is playing checkers~...

maybe he knew the public outcry would bust the deal? now that's sneaky! :)

i really want to hope that it all turns out for the better, including the further bloating of the government's already bloated budget, but one does have to wonder...

I've been surfin'!!! Found a link through Anchoress to a Blog called ~ON Tap~ who has a really cool take on the *deal*.

Also, Doug TenNapel's Blog has a different and equally cool take. See- my instincts are good... sometimes :0).

PS I've never done linkage- I'm fairly illiterate in computer tech.
