pop quiz: each of the following statements contains elements of both truth and untruth. each event was a first, please guess in comments how the rest of each statement varies from the truth.

1. i sat in the second row behind the rangers' dugout for the first time at friday's game
2. i heard "bela lugosi's dead" and "warm leatherette" in their entirety for the first time
3. i was nominated for a grammy award for the first time
4. i ate at dixie house cafe on wednesday night for the first time

1. i sat in the second row behind the rangers' dugout for the first time at saturday's game
2. i heard "bela lugosi's dead" and "warm leatherette" for the first time, but disliked them so much i stopped listening
3. i was nominated for a local emmy award for the first time (as part of a team at work)
4. i ate at dixie house cafe on thursday night for the first time (until this month, they only served breakfast & lunch, not supper.)

#2 was the only unenjoyable item on the list, though it is somewhat reassuring that i no longer like a lot of that morbid kind of music.
