Legacy of Loss

In this otherwise interesting article about the decline of the Democratic party, Politico makes a small mistake:

...this time, there’s neither a Great Depression nor a criminal conspiracy in the White House to explain what has happened.

Just because the term "depression" is not used, and the criminal conspiracy has not yet been prosecuted, doesn't mean they don't exist.

A titan arum by any other name smells just as vile.
