a better ban

rather than banning defensive weapons, why don't we ban violent assault movies?

stifle creative, free expression, guaranteed by the 1st Amendment? not that inconvenient 2nd one...

That's not as showy in Washington as weapons-banning legislation, nor anywhere as near a plume in the hats to the voting folks back home.
(think: riding to the rescue)

(just not the armed cavalry doing that riding to the rescue)
