update: i have no way of knowing if they read this post, but more recent tv ads for the chevy silverado have the same announcer with a much-less-emphasized accent. texas rangers fans and i thank them for that increased intelligibility. ;)
to the ad agency in charge of a certain pickup ad: you might sell more of that vehicle if your announcer didn't pronounce its name "ticzouss adeejon chooobee sibblydoddo"
