lumberyard much?
I find it hilarious that perverts and infant murderers have the gall to call over-generalization "wrong".

Politically Corrupt
Rephrasing an idea from Russ Vaughn at American Thinker:
If it is immoral or criminal for Christian-owned businesses to deny services based on their fundamental beliefs, isn't it also immoral or criminal for governments to refuse their services to the citizens of those states who protect the religious freedoms of their citizenry? Isn't it also immoral or criminal for LGBT groups - based solely on their belief in Political Correctness - to boycott, threaten, and intimidate Christian-owned businesses? Other than scale, I see little difference.

irony board
I found this Robert Heinlein quote posted at a rabid militant atheist's blog:
“You can sway a thousand men by appealing to their prejudices quicker than you can convince one man by logic.”Well, isn't that just a bit... morrisettian?

"could you, for once, be consistent?"
Dennis Miller on Facebook:
You say you're a creationist, liberals cite Darwin. You then cite survival of the fittest, liberals tell you to be more Christ-like.

#AllLivesMatter
One must wonder why the #BlackLivesMatter movement does not protest Planned Parenthood...

the hollow world
A couple of today's comments at Lileks got me thinking:
Coolness is a hollow facsimile of maturity.
The effect of drugs is a hollow facsimile of joy.
Prostitution is a hollow facsimile of marital bliss.
The star/celebrity system is a hollow facsimile of true friendship.
Political correctness is a hollow facsimile of morality.
Can you think of others?

the right to privacy
All of these spying scandals could be cleared up quickly if it was pointed out how they all violated Roe v Wade.
...or maybe NSA's nosiness can get Roe v Wade overturned. Either way it's a win.
update: welcome imao readers, particularly oppo who commented there:

The NSA’s spying has only two outcomes: Woe vs. Raid.

One tragedy of firearm violence calls for an overhaul of gun rights, but systematic IRS abuse is fixed by shuffling people around. #LibLogic

@AceofSpadesHQ
Twitter is where I get to see the thoughts of everyday, regular stupid people that I've excluded from my actual life.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say ketchup packets could be like three times bigger.

You want better care for women? How about you subject Planned Parenthood to the same health standards as say, your local freaking nail salon.

In the future, if any Tea Party group wants to dodge the regulators, just rent an office in a Philadelphia abortion clinic.

One day, some dude was all "You know where we should save our money? Inside a statue of a pig," and everybody went "That is a GREAT idea."

sporadicitylessness
as you may have noticed, i have trouble maintaining a steady pace of posting here. i've heard that some sites pre-plan their posts and let the site automatically publish them at some set time. i'm going to try that too (and admit it up front).
the following series was collected (and occasionally slightly edited) from imao's "wisdom of the day" series, which they in turn collected from twitter. done without explicit permission, but judging from past experience i think that everyone's cool with it - especially because they're linked and attributed.
enjoy!
