There is one hijacker though, that nothing sort of a full hard disk reformat and windows re-install will cure. I can't remember the name of it though. It's a real SOB.
This one seems to have hacked a .dll in the system folder.
Of course, Microsoft (spit) being what it is, I am NOT ALLOWED to replace the offending piece IN MY MACHINE without some major operations. But Windows (spit) had no problem letting in CROOKS TO VANDALIZE MY PROPERTY.
The Evil One, *spit* Gates *spit*, is on his own side. The side which increases his wallet as often as possible, as evidenced by the many OS releases. bleh.
There's a program called Spybot Seach & Destroy that's usually pretty helpful. Also, AdAware has a new version out.
